International festival of classical music, dedicated to 300th anniversary of Omsk’ founding

Among the festival events it is scheduled to hold:
Classical music competition for young artists with the Jury, represented by the professors from South Korea, Germany, China and CIS countries.

Master-classes by the professors and students from South Korea, Germany, China and Russia.
Concerts in Omsk Philharmonic and in the Hall of Organ and Chamber music of Omsk Philharmonic.
The concert program includes the performance of South Korea Choir consisting of music school professors. The delegation will be composed of journalists, representatives of the cities and businessmen. More than 150 guests from different countries will take part in the competition. The festival is expected to become annual.

The participants: Omsk Philharmonic, EU World Neighbours – Noh Tae Cheol, the conductor; Omsk choir, corporation “T&B Entertainment Classic”, Korean choir, professors of music from South Korea, China, Germany; the Jury, students of Korean and Russian music schools, media representatives, deputies and businessmen from South Korea.

“I love Russian classics!”

Noh Tae Cheol graduated from Dong-a University in Busan, South Korea, with distinction (composition). After that, as a symphonic conductor, he studied at “Hochschule für Musik” in Würzburg, Germany, at “Anton Bruckner Private University for Music, Drama, and Dance” in Linz, Austria and at “The University of Music and Performing Arts”, Vienna, Austria.
Maestro Noh Tae Cheol finished his education in Russia, where completed his postgraduate studies in “Nizhny Novgorod State Glinka Conservatoire”. His conductor debut in Europe happened with Hof Symphonic Orchestra (Germany). Since that time he conducted more than 750 concerts, cooperated with almost 130 famous orchestras throughout the world, took part in more than 40 prestigious festivals, like Hantsville festival (Canada), Haydn festival (Hungary), XXV festival “Moscow Autumn” (Russia). The conductor is also a general director of the festival “New music” in Nizhny Novgorod. For many years maestro successfully perform as opera conductor. There are many operas in his repertoire, including “Rigoletto”, “La Traviata” and “Otello” (G.Verdi), “Turandot” and “Madama Butterfly” (G.Puccini), “Die Fledermaus” (J.Strauss II) and many others.

About the festival

The international festival of classical music is dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Omsk’ founding, the development of international relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea and the glory of Omsk culture. It is meant to become a Russian-Korean forum of unity on the basis of the musical art. The Jury is headed by the Chairman. Organizational and technical work is carried by executive secretary. According to the results of the competition, the Jury determines the laureates of I, II, III degree, diplomants.

Participants: pupils and students aged from 7 to 30.
